The Illinois State police were out on Sunday and were checking boats and wave runners for safety items. Did you know you are supposed to have a fire extinguisher on a wave runner? And a whistle!! A friend of ours was greeted by them as he came into the marina on Sunday afternoon. The ticket was for $75. Just thought everyone should do a quick check of what is required as they will probably be out in force again this long holiday weekend.
